dear all

this is a reminder that senior's farewell is TOMORROW at 4:45pm!!!!
meet at the bridge that joins norris & the small hill right next to the lake. you can see chicago from the bridge. the bridge is near pick-staiger concert hall.

it is SUPER important that NONE OF YOU ARE LATE!
cos we're doing an amazing AMAZING RACE!

so we must all start together and on time.

food will only be available upon completion of the race.
it is fun, exciting and intellectual. hahahahahhaha

well not only that. it has a greater purpose. something to do with the senior's video as well.

YOU BETTER COME ON TIME!

much love,
jane

FUNDRAISER for RELAY FOR LIFE - American Cancer Society

nothing to do after dinner today? go to Linz and Vail to get gelato! (before 9pm)
either print out the above flyer or just tell them that it's for AAIV's Relay for Life fundraiser.

if you want to donate to this excellent cause but don't feel like fresh handmade gelato/flavored hot chocolate/designer espressos and all that good stuff, you can donate directly to me! (and get a cookie i baked myself. hahahaha.)

Americans for Informed Democracy, GLOBE, and Kaibigan
present a Town Hall Meeting On

"Entering the United States:
THE IMMIGRATION CONTROVERSY"

An estimated 400,000 immigrants and supporters mobilized in Chicago on May 1, 2006 to protest the proposed U.S. immigration policies. In December of last year, the House of Representatives passed a bill calling for tighter immigration control and the criminalization of illegal immigrants and anyone who provides them assistance. While recent Congressional debates have discussed easing the path to citizenship and allowing guest workers, this issue still proves to be controversial from all sides.

COME HEAR OTHERS' OPINIONS AND SHARE YOUR OWN.

(not that we know who they are, but...)

Panelists include:

Diego Bonesatti
Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights
Susan Gzesh
University of Chicago Law School
Director of the Center for International Human Rights
Abel Nuñez
Centro Romero
Dr. Josef Barton
Northwestern University History Department

Monday, May 15
Fisk Hall Room 217
